Riverhaven is a deed-restricted community located in West Central Florida on the Homosassa River approximately 5 miles from the Gulf of Mexico.  The community has single family homes as well as villas.  The prestigious Village offers a quiet lifestyle blended with nature at its best.  The community, approximately 400 acres in size, is surrounded by State owned lands and water.  There is a Club available for membership and a large common area that is beautifully maintained as a park, a gathering place with fruit trees, activity areas such as a golf pitch, horseshoes and more.  Members with dogs use the area as a (pick up after your pet) exercise area.

With a boat parked at your own dock, you can go to the crystal-clear fresh water Homosassa River, many creeks and other small waterways or the Gulf for salt water fishing all year round.  The headwaters of the River are great for swimming and manatee watching.  Kayaking, scalloping, snorkeling, cruising up or down the river or enjoying a beautiful sunset are just an idea away.  Waterfront dining is abundantly available, some within walking distance.

The single family home community has Riverhaven Village Property Owners Association which interfaces with homeowners on community issues and enforces deed restrictions.

The villa community (Shadowood) has a Home Owners Association for the same purpose.
